Claims Process

When you receive a writ of summon, a letter of demand or a legal threat relating to your practice or medical services rendered to your patients during the period of the insurance, you need to notify JLT immediately. You also need to notify JLT once you become aware of potential claims or circumstances that may give rise to claims against you.
JLT as the scheme manager will assist the Insured during the claim process to ensure a smooth claim management between the Insured and the Insurers. The development of the notification will be monitored periodically and necessary action will be taken when a claim materialises.

You must immediately notify JLT when you become aware of any claims, potential claims or notifiable circumstances. This will enable you to get the required support and assistance and possibly resolve the claim/ notifiable circumstance at an early stage.
